Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam--

This exam was devised for those individuals who have already acquired the proper training and Pharmacy Technician experience required. According to the 2020 requirements, a candidate must provide proof they have completed a pharmacy technician program including externship or work experience as a pharmacy technician for a  minimum of 500 hours. Certificate/diploma from completion of the course or a letter from a pharmacy supervisor stating position, length of employment, and hours worked must be provided to us by emailing help@medical2.com or faxing 407-233-1192 to be eligible for the exam. 

This is a multiple choice exam, covering all aspects of regulations, clerical, and medication procedures of a technician in a pharmacy.  A national Pharmacy Technician certificate will be awarded to those who successfully pass the exam.

Pharmacy Regulations, Technician Duties, Pharmacy Process, Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, Billing and Reimbursement, Pharmacology

Drugs, Controlled Substances, Compounding, and Safety

Each certification exam is 100 questions with a passing score of 70 or greater as of December 28, 2020. . A time limit of 3 hours is allowed. The exam is taken on our website with your login information provided at registration. It may be taken at your convenience 24/7. Your score is provided at the completion of the exam. Only one attempt per payment. Certificates are mailed within one week of completion but may be printed from the website also.

The exam cost is $125 per attempt.
