Personal Care Aide-Online Self Study Program--$300
Learn about Personal Care Aide at home without spending a lot of time and money through the Medical2 self study program with online activities and exams. This program is designed to teach all the fundamentals of the Personal Care Aide who assist the elderly and/or those with disabilities with everyday tasks. Personal Care Aides may work in assisted living facilities or come to the person's home. Personal Care Aides provide companionship along with assisting the person with hygiene, running errands, household chores, and ensuring the person takes their medication.
The program and exam will cover the topics such as :
- Medical terminology
- Hygiene
- Infection control
- Simple first aid or emergency
- Dementia
How the Program Works : Register, Read your book, complete online activities and exam. If you choose the complete home study program, your books and study guides will be sent out within 3-5 business days. You have a one year maximum assist to the online activities and exam.
Prerequisites :
- Must be 17 years old or older with a passion for helping others.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check. (extra charge).
- Must have attempted high school (transcript to prove attendance), a diploma, or GED
